I'll improve that with more attempts but I just hate 1st person platforming as a rule. It was real jarring using the Lion boots again after such a long break but I managed to get to the mob room with 8 minutes I think. I watched one vid of shortcuts, which might have covered a green room? There is shortcut that skips the hardest platforming section (the Green room) if that helps. Not exactly what I had in mine but beggars and choosers. So basically if you are bad at the jumping, your groupmates can run ahead and start clearing and you can catch up whenever and join in. As long as your group kills the 3 bosses at the end before the timer runs out, everyone gets the drops.

Can I be pulled through by teamates at any point? I wouldn't curse my enemies with waiting for me to get through a timed jumping puzzle until I've had some. My most hated, and I really mean hated, content of Destiny has always been the jumping puzzles. It might technically be soloable but I wouldn't bet on being able to pull it off. Holy $# the Whisper quest! I muddle my way through the ridiculous blind jumping puzzle to be greeted with an encounter that I can't last 5 seconds without dying? Stop beating me I'm already dead you monster! After I got over the excitement of shoulder charge shotgunning like the days of old I have moved a sidearm as my primary go to as my secondary weapon in most situations. Hell I even got a Last Dance with Opening Shot and something else I cant remember and it has been doing work as well. They all handily dispatch a good majority of shotgun rushers with extreme prejudice. I have a Rangefinder / Threat Detector roll, a Zen Moment/ Kill Clip roll etc. The Anonymous Autumn is really really good and has multiple top tier rolls depending on your preference. At least in regards to how a ton of people are playing. Man, I have never been a big sidearm aficionado - playing around with them mostly for shits and giggles - but I feel they are in a really really good place right now.

Using a Death By Scorn with Full Auto, Zen Moment/Headseeker with a counterbalance mod for that vastly improved burst sidearm recoil.

Suuuper anecdotal but as far as Void Titan I've been pairing Commander spec with Armamentarium and 2 (soon to be 4?) grenade mods and let me tell you having a mag nade in your pocket for almost every 1v1 is great.īonus points when you are in a 2v1 and you get the nade on one guy, as long as the 2nd enemy is close enough to be tagged by the first explosion, which happens often in corridors or rooms, the self-feedback debuff from a mag nade with Controlled Demolition means they essentially blow each other up.

I can't shake the feeling that Solar's neutral game and the throwing hammer could be good and maybe I'll play around with using it and a burst sidearm but having the shoulder charge in your pocket as a free kill is just so dang valuable sometimes. Striker and Solar are fine but I don't think either is better than the existing subclasses and I don't think Void middle tree was ever going to be better than top tree. I want to play with the fun Y2 guns and Y2 sandbox but that might just be a quickplay thing for me.Īlso I'm not sure any of the new Titan subclasses are great in PvP. I'm also struggling with shotguns, good people are too grouped up and using space too well to ape them, so as much as it pains me I'm probably going to switch to a Main Ingredient or a burst sidearm. I'm not a cyborg aim-bot so I struggle to be consistent with a hand cannon that's not a 180 but 180s have shit range, which leaves me with pulses and that works out ok but I need hand cannon kills for the dang Luna chase. The meta is comp is weird for me right now. It might do hella work in Rumble and I'll give it a shot there, whenever I get around to playing Rumble (lol never but actually when a quest demands it). The shield window is short and also has a brief cooldown, so it's great for 1v1s and it's great for bouncing supers back at people, but both of those things are situational enough that I can't see it being an every day exotic for me. I'm really pretty meh on the the Anteus Wards, at least after one night of playing with them.
